Cyrela joined Istoé Dinheiro magazine’s–Brazil’s most comprehensive–ranking of companies standing out in terms of Financial, Social and Environmental, Innovation and Quality, Human Resources and Corporate Governance Management in 2011. The Company was ranked 2nd in the Human Resources category and 4th in the Innovation and Quality category.
Cyrela is among the 25 most valuable brands in Brazil according to Interbrand. Brand value was estimated at R$587 million–up 8% from 2010–so that the Company occupied the 15th position in the ranking.

Cyrela Brazil Realty won the 18th TOP Imobiliário Award in the categories of Real Estate Developer (Grand Winner) and Construction Company (2nd Runner-Up). The award is a joint initiative of Estadão and EMBRAESP (Empresa Brasileira de Estudos de Patrimônio or Brazilian Company for Property Studies). The organizers used EMBRAESP’s ranking, based on a survey of all real estate projects, either new or in the process of being launched, in the São Paulo Metropolitan Area in 2010 to select the winning companies. Data about residential or non-residential products are grouped by developers’, vendors’ and developers’ number of projects; units; buildings; area and total launches.
Cyrela was ranked among the 50 most valuable brands in Brazil by Dinheiro Magazine. Brand value was estimated at R$399 million so that the Company occupied the 30th position in the ranking. The ranking of the strongest and most valuable Brazilian brands is prepared by BrandAnalytics jointly with DINHEIRO magazine and the WPP Group, based on Millward Brown’s BrandZ market survey.
Cyrela ranks among the 25 most valuable Brazilian brands, according to Interbrand’s ranking. The brand’s value has been calculated at R$545 million, placing the company in the 14th position.
Cyrela Brazil Realty marked its presence in the 17th edition of the TOP Imobiliário Award, in the Real Estate Developer (1st place) and Construction Company (3rd place) categories. The award is a partnership of the “Estadão” newspaper with Embraesp (Empresa Brasileira de Estudos de Patrimônio) the Brazilian Property Studies Company. In order to identify the winning companies, the TOP Real Estate uses the Embraesp ranking which is based on a survey that collects information about all new real estate projects or those coming on stream, offered to the market in the São Paulo metropolitan region in 2009. The residential or non-residential product data are grouped according to the number of projects, units, blocks, area and total products launched for developers, sellers and construction companies.
Actions created by Embrace receive national award
Two cases developed by Embrace Comunicação e Marketing de Relacionamento were recognized at the 16th ABEMD Award, promoted by the Brazilian Association of Direct Marketing. This is the most important award of this industry in Brazil, and it acknowledges Direct Marketing works in the Campaign and Program, Call Center, CRM/Database and Digital categories.
One of the winners is the “Eu indico Cyrela” (I recommend Cyrela ) case, developed by the agency for Cyrela Brazil Realty’s projects in São Paulo. Because of this promotion, 10% of the recommendations have already resulted in sales. This has generated a 3,079% return on investment, which means each investment has generated a return of R$30.79 for every R$1.00 invested.
The other case is “Pré-venda Altobeli” (Altobeli Pre-sale), created to promote the Altobeli residential project in Caxias do Sul. This project is a partnership between Fisa and Goldsztein Cyrela. The action, carried out one week before the launch of the project’s advertising campaign, generated sales representing 30% of Altobeli’s units.
Cyrela ranks 28th among Brazil’s 50 most valuable companies, with brand value of R$ 526 million, in the ranking of “Isto É Dinheiro” magazine. The ranking was prepared by the research institutes Brand Analytics and Millward Brown, based on 2009 financial data versus the previous year.
Cyrela Brazil Realty and Morar, through the Bem Querer Project, were awarded for the first time the Top Socioambiental prize, promoted by the Espírito Santo State Association of Sales and Marketing Officers (ADVB).
The purpose of this award is to acknowledge and honor, every year, the best projects and results in the social, environmental, cultural and citizenship fields that aim at community welfare and sustainable development.
Cyrela Brazil Realty and Morar Construtora have been awarded the ADEMI – ES prize for the first time.
The companies won the Advertising Campaign award with the Aldeia Parque Campaign, created by Set Comunicação.

Cyrela competed for the first time in the “Euromoney’s Real Estate Poll 2009”. The ranking was disclosed in September by the Euromoney magazine, and Cyrela ranked first as the best real estate company in Latin America.
For the second year in a row, Cyrela Brazil Realty ranked first as the most admired company in Brazil in the Category of Homebuilders and Real Estate Developers, according to the result of the 12th edition of the research published in the news magazine Carta Capital.
Cyrela stood out in the Info Corporate award by Grupo Abril – Best Information Technology Cases 2009, with the BI case “Partnership Management”.
Cyrela and CCP stand out among the 250 major holdings in the country
Cyrela Brazil Realty was once again listed among the 250 major holdings in the country at the “Valor 1000”, by the newspaper Valor Econômico, ranking 43rd. In this edition CCP (Cyrela Commercial Properties) was also listed in the category for the first time, ranking 181st.
“Valor 1000” is a roster of the one thousand largest Brazilian companies, ranked by net revenues, and divided into 25 sectors, each with a winning company.
Cyrela is the major residential real estate company in Latina America and the USA
The Brazilian Cyrela is the major residential real estate company in Latin America according to the ranking considering companies in Latin America and the USA. The list considers the publicly held companies and their market cap, according to data by Economática.
Cyrela’s market cap is US$ 4,898 billion, as of august 27th, 2009.
Among all real estate companies, only two American ones of the heavy construction sector ranked better than Cyrela: Fluor Corporation (US$ 9,729 billion) and Jacobs Engineering (US$ 5,551 billion).
In the comprehensive ranking, another Brazilian company shows amongst the ten largest companies, MRV (US$ 3,120 billion), which also acts in the residential building industry, ranking ninth.
Still considering all sectors, six Brazilian companies are included in the top 20 construction companies ranking – Cyrela, MRV, PDG Realty (US$ 2,340 billion), BR Malls (US$ 2,061 billion), Gafisa (US$ 1,989 billion), Multiplan (US$ 1,975 billion) –, along with 11 American and three Mexican companies.
Cyrela Brazil Realty collects the DCI Most Admired Companies award for the first time, in the “Engineering and Construction” category. This initiative has existed for six years, and is based on interviews by journalists from the DCI newspaper in 2008, when 2145 executives were canvassed.
Cyrela was classified in the ranking of the “100 most innovative companies in Information Technology in 2008”, taking 48th place in the overall classification and 2nd place in the civil construction sector.
Organized by the Information Week Brasil magazine, in partnership with Deloitte, the key factors for companies to qualify were: innovation processes, program management; percentage of the IT area budget invested in innovation and alignment of the area with the company’s strategic proposals.
Cyrela Brazil Realty is the highlight at the “Brazil Intangibles Award (PIB)”, a pioneering initiative of the Padrão Group, and promoted through the Consumidor Moderno magazine and DOM Strategy Partners, which aims to recognize companies that employ excellence in managing their intangible assets, increasingly fundamental in composing market value and in building the reputation of corporations operating in the modern global economy.
Competing with the thousand largest companies in Brazil, Cyrela took first place in the special category “Best in the Novo Mercado”. The companies comprising this segment of the Bovespa (the São Paulo Stock Exchange) commit themselves to adopting corporate governance practices and disclosure of additional information in relation to that required by legislation.

The 14th edition of the Real Estate Master Award – an event sponsored by SECOVI (The Housing Union) in partnership with the FIABCI (International Federation of Real Estate Professionals)-this year chose 17 cases from among the 70 enrolled. Cyrela Brazil Realty received awards for the cases:

At the second edition of the ADEMI-Niterói Top Real Estate event, RJZ Cyrela will once again be on the stage to receive two awards. Novo Portinho won an award in the “Building Lot” category, and Ventura Niteroi in the Large “Economical Residential Project” category – it is worth mentioning that last year RJZ Cyrela also reached the finals.
The purpose of the award is to recognize and encourage professional excellence in the local real estate sector of Niterói, by awarding prizes and disclosing the performance of the companies and professionals affiliated to the ADEMI-Niterói. The choice is made by a commission of judges who analyze work completed, on-going or projected in cities in the State of Rio de Janeiro, with the exception of the capital.
The official award ceremony will take place on August 5. The time and venue have yet to be announced.

At the 37th edition of the event, the Galleria Boulevard projects, in partnership with Rossi in Campinas, and Cosmopolitan Work Style, in partnership with Carvalho Hosken in Rio de Janeiro, were the award-winning cases.
The 13th edition of the Master Real Estate Award – an event organized by SECOVI (the Housing Union) in partnership with FIABCI (the International Federation of Real Estate Professionals) – had 60 enrollments. Central Park Mooca, a project by Cyrela Brazil Realty, whose 564 units were sold in only ten days, was among the 17 award winners, and has become a reference\in the São Paulo real estate market. The case qualified for the “Professional” category, worthy of note being sales, which evaluated jobs or projects involving the real estate area.
Cyrela Brazil Realty took 2nd place in the Marketing magazine awards for the companies that developed the best communication plans during the year 2006.
Among the winning companies, the highlights were Bradesco, Casas Bahia, Sadia, Fiat, TAM, CVC and the Post Office, among others. All of them had been previous winners in the sectors in which they operate.
The choice was made by magazine readers voting on-line during the month of November, and the result was published in early February.
RJZ/Cyrela was the winner of the 7th edition of the Ademi Highlight – 2006 Master Real Estate Award, one of the industry’s most important events. Elected company of the year, RJZ/Cyrela also received four statuettes for the Cosmopolitan Work Style, Paço Real, Saint Barth and Saint Martin and Riserva Uno projects.

For the first time, Cyrela Brazil Realty has been classified in the ranking of the 100 largest e-commerce companies in Brazil, published by the Info Exame magazine. The study lists the 100 largest names in on-line transactions in Brazil, composing a ranking of 50 leading companies in B2C transactions (direct consumer sales), and 50 in B2B transactions (business to business).
The company took 8th place among the largest in B2C and was the only civil construction market company to win a place among the 10 largest.
The classification was based on the volume of transactions carried out on the Internet, and Cyrela came close to Brazil’s largest retail sites, such as Submarino and Magazine Luiza.

This time, the winning case was Le Monde Office, a commercial project launched in Rio de Janeiro. In 2004, the chosen project was Le Parc Residential Resort, which has the same professional team as Le Monde.
